Tech company Apple's iPhone models are given the latest iOS updates for many years.

In June this year, Apple can unveil the iOS 15 update and new features available in it.

A new report has revealed that the update to the latest version of iOS will not be given to some older iPhone models.

However, the list of models not receiving the update includes iPhones older than five years.

These iPhones will not get iOS 15 :-

A report by French website iPhoneSoft states that iPhone models launched before 2016 will not get support for the latest iOS 15.

That is, the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the original iPhone SE receiving the iOS 14 update will not be given the next update

The update will be given to the :-

 

•  iPhone 7 series launched in 2016

•  followed by the iPhone 8 series

•  iPhone X lineup, iPhone SE 2020  

•  iPhone 11 or 12 series models

The report gives information about the updates received not only for the iPhone but also for the Apple iPad.

iOS 15 Launch 

Many iPads older than three years will not receive the new iPadOS 15 update.

iPad models not receiving the update may include the 

iPad mini 4 (2015)

iPad Air 2 (2014) and 

iPad 5 (2017)

which come with the A8, A8X and A9 chips, respectively.

When will the new iOS 15 update be released ?

Popular Tech company Apple has been releasing a new version of its operating system in the month of June at WWDC.

However, last year due to the Corona virus epidemic, Apple did a virtual event for this.

iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 have been released recently by Apple and these updates can be accessed in the Apple Developer Center.

In this, new Apple HomePod connectivity and Apple Watch features have been given.

MagSafe chargers with magnets have been provided in iPhone 12 models, a study in the Journal of Health Rhythm revealed that they can turn off when placed near the pacemaker.

Apple has advised users to keep a distance of at least 6 inches from iPhone 12 models and MagSafe chargers that have pacemakers embedded in their bodies.
